PhD, Engineer in studies of geo-natural and anthropized environments Professional position: From September 2006 : Engineer, UPS, Functional ecology and environment laboratory – UMR 5245 (France; 2006-present). Education: 2002-2007: PhD in Ecology & Evolution, University of Toulouse. Ecology of the zooplankton of the Scheldt estuary (Belgium). 2000-2001: Master of Science in Ecology in Continental Ecosystems. University of Toulouse. Study of the predation impact of the palmate newt (Triturus helveticus) and the notonect (Notonecta maculata) on a natural population of zooplankton.
Research area: Biodiversity and Freshwater ecology My goal is to investigate the aquatic organisms diversity in relation with environmental pressures and changes. In this context, I am interested by the trophic interactions. My study models are diverse, from the zooplankton to fishes. My works realized in collaboration with French and foreign colleagues are based on both laboratory and in situ experiments and on field observations, including scientific scuba diving.
