During my education and my professional experiences, I specialised first in environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology, then in biogeochemistry and hydrology. My global research work focuses on the study of the transfer of organic contaminants in different compartments (water, biofilms, vegetation, sediments). Interdisciplinarity is at the heart of my academic and professional career. Indeed, I started with a degree in chemistry at the University of Bordeaux where I specialised in environmental chemistry. I then went on to complete a Master's degree in Chemistry and Biology at the University of Bordeaux with environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology as my specialities. I did my thesis about the study of the mechanisms of transfer and distribution of pesticides in biofilms in link with the toxic effects associated at Irstea (UR EABX) of Bordeaux (today INRAE). I continued my professional career by joining the Laboratoire écologie fonctionnelle et environnement, at the CNRS, in Toulouse, for my postdoctoral research on the role of ponds in pesticide transfer and storage in agricultural context.
