My present research interest is about the impacts of anthropogenic chemical contaminants on plants and ecosystems. For that purpose, I use concepts and tools from my initial scientific background in community and functional ecology.
I focus on 3 main topics:
1. Impacts of multiple environmental stressors (incl. chemical contaminants) on aquatic and terrestrial plants
2. Importance and sources of intraspecific variations in freshwater plant response to anthropogenic chemical contaminants
3. Development of new tools to remotely monitor plant assemblages and ecosystems, particularly in a context of chemical contamination
I am currently the PI of these research projects :
ECONECT (Development of an infrastructure for the automated in situ monitoring of sentinel species)
2020-22; supported by FEDER and by the Occitania Region (amount granted : 1.075 M€).
In collaboration with 5 other research units (SETE, CRCA, IRIT, LAAS & GEODE) and 3 private companies (BeeGuard, Select Design & Adict Solutions)

DEMETHER (Development of a mechanistic model to understand and simulate the growth of aquatic plant meadows in fluvial systems)
2017-20; supported by the Adour-Garonne Water Agency and Agence Nationale de la Recherche Scientifique (amount granted : 158.7 k€).
In collaboration with the French company Adict Solutions.
